Prakash Mahadevan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Onacademia, a growing education and skill-development organization founded with a clear purpose—to make quality, practical and industry-relevant education accessible to learners who aspire to build meaningful careers.

A Commerce graduate from the University of Kerala with a Diploma in Computerised Accounting, Prakash brings a combination of business understanding, technology awareness, entrepreneurial vision and hands-on experience in the education and training sector.

His journey in education has been driven by a simple belief: education should not end with a certificate; it should create capability, confidence and opportunity.

Beginning with initiatives in online education and professional training, he gradually expanded his vision into a structured learning ecosystem. This journey led to the establishment of Onacademia in 2021, with a commitment to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical skills demanded by the workplace.

Under his leadership, Onacademia has grown into a career-focused training institution offering programs across Accounting, TallyPrime, GST, Finance, Software Development, Python, Web Development, Business Management, Computer Applications and Digital Skills.

Today, Onacademia has supported thousands of learners in developing practical and employability-oriented skills. The institution's current profile highlights more than 5,200 registered learners and 5,100 certified learners, reflecting the growing reach of this vision.
